At Biolife Plasma Services, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our donors. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our plasma donations.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records. You will also be responsible for coordinating donor compensation and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in our center processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their safety and eligibility to donate
  • Take and record vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation and ensure timely payment
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in our center processes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
