Key Responsibilities

  • Offer emotional and physical support during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other community resources to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in birth support and maternal health.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with expectant mothers and families, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
