Packaging Business Developer

Imprimerie du Marais, a specialist print shop founded in 1971, is seeking a Business Developer to support its growth in the United States. As our main representative in the US, you will collaborate with top brands in the luxury and creative sectors, developing commercial opportunities and identifying new business targets.
Main Responsibilities- Develop commercial opportunities by sector, working to commercial targets.
- Identify new business targets, present our services, and bid for print and packaging projects.
- Provide tailor-made guidance and support for customer projects, from development into production.
- Write up project specifications for the production team, advising on client needs and timeframe.
- Maintain sales CRM, recording all new data/changes.
- Represent Imprimerie du Marais on a daily basis and at internal and external events.
- Collaborate on the strategic development of commercial events.
- Monitor sector activity for projects, new hires, and new developments.
- College educated, with a focus in business and/or luxury goods.
- Strong knowledge of print and packaging.
- At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales and/or print, and/or graphics industries.
- US citizen or Green Card holder.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Fluency in written and spoken French is a bonus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a good sense of aesthetic and comfort in business negotiations.
- Availability: September 2024 start.
- Location: NYC.
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Salary: Competitive + Sales Commission.
- Benefits: Health insurance.
- Holidays: 20 days, including public holidays.
