Bilingual Office Coordinator

Become a vital member of our team as a Bilingual Office Coordinator within the Developmental Disabilities Institute. This position is integral to our Early Childhood Services initiative, where you will provide crucial administrative support and facilitate various departmental activities.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is mandatory
- At least one year of experience in an office environment
- Formal training in secretarial or office management may be considered in lieu of experience
- Strong computer proficiency is essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Fluency in English and a second language is necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and handle confidential documents with care
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and conferences
- Maintain and manage calendars and schedules
- Handle incoming calls and greet visitors professionally
- Address general inquiries both verbally and in writing
- Organize and maintain files and records systematically
- Order and manage office supplies efficiently
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Provide translation assistance for staff and families as needed
- Operate various office equipment competently
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Proficient use of office equipment
- Capable of lifting items up to 20 lbs
- Ability to handle files and communicate via telephone
- Willingness to stand, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, twist, and bend as necessary
- Close vision and focus adjustment may be required
