Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at Stokes Counseling Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management to individuals in need of mental health services.

About the Role:
  • Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management to individuals identified as needing mental health services.
  • Work closely with counselors and other healthcare professionals to facilitate care coordination and provide expert consultation related to mental health and wellness.
  • Ensure that medical evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations, have been performed.
  • Ensure that orders comply with State Regulations and HIPAA Standards.
  • Consult and collaborate with other members of the integrated care team.
  • Document all encounters in the medical record, update medication lists, and complete medication management treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
  • APRN or PMHNP license in Connecticut.
  • DEA license in Connecticut.
  • Experience with Pediatrics and Children is a plus.
  • Experience as a Psychiatric Nurse is a plus.
  • Must be a resident of CT or one of the following states: NY, NJ, MA, or NC.
