Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support for desktops, mobile devices, networks, and phone systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems for end-users.
  • Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VoIP phone systems, including configuring extensions, managing call flows, and resolving voice-related issues.
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring that all systems adhere to security policies and best practices.
  • Conduct regular system and security audits, applying necessary patches and updates.
  • Assist with setting up user accounts, permissions, and security settings in alignment with company policies.
  • Document all issues, resolutions, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT team members, and users, to ensure smooth deployment of new technologies, tools, and upgrades.
  • Assist with maintaining the inventory of IT equipment and ensuring that all hardware and software are up to date.
Requirements
  • Experience in a help desk or technical support role, with knowledge of networking, phone systems (VoIP), and security.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, etc.)
  • Experience with VoIP phone systems (configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting)
  • Familiarity with firewalls, security policies, and best practices for securing an IT environment
  • Proficiency with Windows operating system
  • Experience with ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, and Active Directory:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or similar certifications are highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Customer-focused attitude and commitment to providing outstanding technical support
