Position Overview

Role Summary

The Lead Credit Risk Analyst plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the Credit Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new client accounts, which includes evaluating and following up on credit submissions, assessing customer credit histories, and establishing new accounts in accordance with approved credit limits.
  • Assist in Accounts Receivable collection initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation for Quarterly Internal Accounts Receivable Review Meetings.
  • Oversee the management of Certificates of Insurance for clients.
  • Conduct research and provide support for inquiries related to sales tax.
  • Contribute to the Service Department's work order approval workflow by reviewing and making decisions on credit approval requests.
  • Investigate UCC filings and associated lien regulations, and communicate findings to the Credit Manager.
  • Document various Credit policies, procedures, and internal controls, and assist with Credit-related elements for the new ERP system implementation.
  • Execute other recurring tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five to seven years of relevant professional experience, with a preference for one to two years in credit analysis.
  • Some familiarity with various state tax regulations and lien laws is desirable.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (especially Excel), with the ability to quickly adapt to role-specific software and systems.
