Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients of any age group admitted to the area employed. You will work closely with the Medical Staff to support the medical care of patients and provide direction to Licensed Vocational Nurses and non-licensed nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients
* Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel while ensuring patient safety
* Implement measures to promote a safe environment for patients and others
* Maintain required documentation of patient care and unit activities
* Clarify any order or treatment regimen that the nurse has reason to believe is inaccurate or contraindicated

Requirements:
* Graduate degree from an accredited nursing program
* Current RN license in the State of Texas
* BLS certification
* Unit specific competencies obtained within six months of hire
