We are currently in search of a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the multi-disciplinary management of assigned projects, typically handling a significant project or multiple smaller projects with intricate features. You will also lead a team of engineers and technicians while actively contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive design solutions across various project sizes.
  • Make critical design recommendations and decisions with minimal guidance.
  • Plan and assign design tasks to project staff.
  • Review and provide feedback on correspondence prepared by junior team members.
  • Engage in quality control processes for all projects.

Technical Path Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership within our Technical Operations Team for projects of all scales.
  • Serve as a technical advisor, analyzing issues and preparing reports.
  • Play a key role in project reviews, ensuring quality control for complex projects.
  • Offer technical support to resolve field issues, requiring site visits and independent problem-solving.

Project Management Path Responsibilities:

  • Act as Project Manager for large, complex projects or multiple smaller initiatives.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients, assisting in marketing efforts and proposal preparation.
  • Consistently generate new business opportunities and participate in client presentations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in the technical aspects of structural engineering.
  • Proven ability to design and manage significant projects.
  • Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in conducting final quality control checks in your area of expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for project-related needs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license is required.
  • Structural Engineering license is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
