Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative to join our team at Renown Health. As a key member of our Self Pay Billing Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest recoverability of self-pay accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between Renown and its customers, handling inquiries and self-pay collections in a compassionate and expedient manner.
  • Re-engage patients with techniques to resolve outstanding balances and identify potential or existing service-related operational issues to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collect maximum, targeted dollars on assigned accounts, ensuring the highest recoverability of self-pay accounts.
  • Manage multiple priorities, consistently meeting collection activity goals, and effectively handle all communications, including telephone, mail, and email.
  • Negotiate payments/payment plans, identify accounts eligible for transfer to outside collection agencies, and communicate effectively through phone and email.
  • Organize and collect financial information with little to no errors, working in a call center environment with recorded calls for quality and safety purposes.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of experience in hospital/medical billing or customer service, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • High school diploma preferred, with preference given to applicants who have earned a degree from an accredited college.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Word.
