Position Overview:

This pivotal role is responsible for orchestrating intricate cross-functional Request for Proposals (RFPs) while overseeing comprehensive sourcing strategies, process enhancements, and cost reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement accommodation optimization strategies that align with our global brand objectives, managing direct relationships with hotel properties and technology providers.
  • Collaborate with technology, finance, and operations teams to effectively position Royal Caribbean Group's accommodation solutions, recommending integration methods and supporting platform providers.
  • Conduct detailed price and geolocation analyses, utilizing advanced forecasting and problem-solving techniques to devise strategies that adapt to dynamic market conditions.
  • Negotiate advantageous discounts through various pricing programs, ensuring availability in markets with limited room nights.
  • Work closely with on-property revenue management teams to support and execute brand distribution strategies.
  • Ensure accurate rate loading and content across channels by collaborating with Royal Caribbean Group Distribution teams.
  • Engage with third-party partners to maintain accurate rate flows, optimize property positions, and ensure updated content.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the hotel technology and distribution landscape, including knowledge of all hotel channels and revenue management systems.
  • Formulate strategies to integrate Royal Caribbean Group's New Travel Platform with brand aspirations for vacation packages.
  • Mitigate risks associated with unused contracted hotel rooms through effective planning and negotiation.
  • Interpret contracts, identify potential risks, and consult with internal experts to ensure compliance and clarity in contract terms.
  • Facilitate prompt resolution of contractual issues to minimize risk and enhance savings for Royal Caribbean Group.
  • Lead negotiations for various agreements, assessing risks and drafting appropriate contract language.
  • Manage data effectively to ensure that contract details are communicated clearly and files are consistently updated.
  • Analyze market data to inform negotiations and strategies related to accommodation procurement.
  • Present clear strategies and cost implications to upper management.
  • Collaborate with procurement leaders to create strategies and evaluate opportunities while adhering to evolving policies.
  • Document and maintain a multi-year continent sourcing procurement strategy, anticipating market trends and company growth.
