Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Federal Express Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and systems, including mechanical power transmission, electrical, and PLC/controls.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and failures, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Utilize Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to enter and retrieve prescribed data.
  • Collaborate with department, operations, vendors, and support teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of engineering formulas and principles to solve complex mechanical or electrical problems.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certificates in Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics, electrical or mechanical trade, or related area, and an associate degree in a related area preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience in Industrial Maintenance with proficiency in knowledge and demonstrated skills in mechanical power transmission, electrical, and PLC/controls.
  • Ability to follow procedures as directed by work orders or high-level technicians/management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills within own department to peers, managers, and outside vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple certificates and degrees may be assessed by manager and HR to determine relevancy to minimum qualifications and experience.
  • Software skills, including Microsoft Office suite and other web-based applications.
  • Possess time management and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Will need to use hand tools and possibly power tools.
  • May be working in hot or cold temperatures.
  • May need to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and squat.

Pay Transparency: $19.85-$37.70, depending on experience level.
