As a Key Account Sales Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in improving our market position and driving revenue and profit growth within Mid-Market customers ($200,000-$5,000,000 potential).

You'll be assigned a portfolio of $2M -$4M in annual revenue with a majority of Mid-Market customers in the penetration stage of their lifecycle. Your primary objective will be to align with MSC's long-term strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals, and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

The ideal candidate will utilize account planning tools, prescriptive analytics, and research from marketing to educate customers about new issues and outcomes that lead to MSC's differentiated solutions.

This challenging yet rewarding role requires a dynamic individual who can:
  1. Offers unique perspectives and reframes how customers view their business.
  2. Tailor presentations and commercial insights specific to each customer, industry, and contact.
  3. Create constructive tension to drive action from customers.
  4. Leverage data and facts to introduce new ideas that challenge the status quo and highlight hidden costs.
  5. Take control of the purchasing process by guiding customers through next steps and educating them on best practices and potential roadblocks.


This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $64,540 - $101,420 depending on experience (base + commission), plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
