Summary: The primary goal of this role is to execute daily measurement operations, which encompass the calibration and maintenance of measurement instruments for both liquid and gas applications. This position serves a diverse clientele, including marine fuel transport services, chemical manufacturing facilities, oil refining operations, and various sectors within the oilfield industry, both onshore and offshore.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe essential responsibilities of this position are prioritized as follows:
- Disassemble and reassemble measurement instruments and related equipment.
- Oversee and sustain the operational condition of measurement devices.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues within measurement systems.
- Possess the ability to dismantle and reconstruct liquid and gas metering frameworks.
- Understand the functionality of production apparatus (e.g., separators, glycol systems, and communication tools).
- Execute calibration procedures for all electronic and manual metering systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications (DOS and Windows).
- Handle electronic, communication, and production-related tasks as required.
- Capable of transporting tools and calibration devices.
- Communicate effectively and adhere to client instructions in a professional and safe manner.
- Possess the ability to commute to various job sites.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and maintain a positive attitude towards daily responsibilities and client interactions.
- Commit to learning new measurement techniques and participate in training sessions as necessary.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
- Utilize established guidelines and personal experience to fulfill job functions.
