Job Overview

BBR Partners, a boutique wealth management firm, seeks a seasoned professional to join its Advisory team as a Vice President, Portfolio. This role is responsible for day-to-day client portfolio management and monitoring, including asset allocation, performance, and trading activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee client portfolio management and monitoring, ensuring alignment with client goals and risk tolerance.
  • Liaise with external advisors to deliver integrated advisory services, including attorneys, tax accountants, and other experts.
  • Provide proactive client coverage, discussing market trends, tax law changes, trust & estate matters, and other issues affecting clients' wealth management plans.
  • Manage client meetings, coordinating agendas and materials with senior team members and developing junior staff's work product.
  • Participate in client meetings, focusing on creating meaningful change and driving results.
  • Contribute to internal meetings, offering insights and suggestions on firm strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist new clients in defining investment goals as they transition into the firm.
  • Nurture relationships with service providers offering benefits to clients.
  • Contribute to the sales and marketing process, providing insights on prospective clients and their needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in wealth management or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families, with a strong emphasis on client service.
  • Familiarity with various aspects of portfolio management, including asset allocation and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment, collaborating with existing client relationship teams.
  • Highly motivated, extremely ethical, and professionally mature.
