Talent Services Manager Job Description

The Talent Services Manager will play a key role in providing coaching and guidance on a wide range of HR initiatives to a team of Talent Services Partners.

Working closely with other members of our Global Talent Organization, you will demonstrate a broad scope of knowledge and contribute proactively to the planning and day-to-day HR activities of the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direct management to a team of Talent Services Partners in multiple locations across the United States, EMEA, or APAC.
  • Support, coach, and guide the team, setting and measuring quarterly performance goals and objectives, providing continuous feedback and guidance in support of their individual development needs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure the needs within their organizations are being met by the Talent Services Partners.
  • Partner with key support functions within and outside of HR to ensure collaboration between teams.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to help create efficiencies within HR and across the company.
  • Provide expertise in HR programs and processes.
  • Provide frontline manager support when needed to cover for Talent Services Partners.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience as an HR Generalist/HRBP.
  • 2+ years people management experience (managing HR Generalists or similar).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience successfully managing and mentoring people and teams.
  • Detail and goal-oriented, has the flexibility to deal with multiple and changing priorities while focused on customer service and quality.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload, juggling conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational ability.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and have an abundance of common sense and pragmatism.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to translate this into practical advice for the LinkedIn HR population.
  • Experience successfully interacting with cross-functional teams and multi-region teams.
  • Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer orientation.
  • Solution-driven using creative and diverse ways to approach a problem or answer a question.
  • Experience with HR Management Systems.
