Roofing Sales Consultant

We are seeking dedicated Outside Sales Consultants; we offer a thorough training program and opportunities for career advancement in sales.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required:
1. Product Expertise:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the roofing services and products offered by the company. Familiarize yourself with various roofing materials, their advantages, and their applications for different roofing types and projects.
2. Lead Identification:
- Discover potential clients within your assigned regions. This includes researching neighborhoods, utilizing demographic data, and compiling a list of properties that may require roofing services.
3. Direct Sales:
- Engage with homeowners and businesses in your designated territory to present your company's roofing solutions. Be ready to articulate the benefits, respond to inquiries, and share information about the company.
4. Client Consultation:
- Understand potential clients' roofing issues and needs. Evaluate their requirements and provide expert recommendations and solutions based on the services offered by the company.
5. Estimates and Proposals:
- Deliver immediate estimates and proposals for prospective clients, detailing the scope of work, materials required, and pricing. Carry relevant marketing collateral and documentation.
6. Negotiation Skills:
- Be prepared to negotiate terms and pricing with potential clients. Address any objections or concerns they may have.
7. Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with contacts you meet. Establishing trust and rapport is essential for success in direct sales.
8. Follow-Up:
- After your initial visit, follow up with potential clients to address any further questions, provide additional information, and ultimately secure the sale.
9. Record Keeping:
- Maintain precise records of your interactions with potential clients, including their contact details and specific needs or concerns.
10. Time Management:
- Strategically plan your route to maximize visits and cover as many potential clients as possible within your assigned area.
11. Adaptability:
- Be ready for a range of responses, including rejections. The ability to professionally handle rejection and move on to the next potential client is crucial.
12. Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, even after the sale has been finalized. Address any issues or concerns they may have throughout the roofing project.
13. Sales Targets:
- You may be expected to achieve specific sales targets or quotas set by the company. Regular reporting on your sales activities and progress is typically required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay: $75,000 - $150,000 per year.
