Shift Details:
2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

As a Logistics Planning Lead, you will oversee demand forecasting, planning, and customer relations for designated clients. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong dedication will ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all support functions within the distribution center, including quality assurance, inventory oversight, data analysis, and operational strategy.
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to meet service level agreements; ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and client standards.
  • Plan and research inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Identify opportunities for growth with existing clients by promoting enhanced services and cost efficiencies; work closely with site leadership during customer engagements and problem-solving sessions.
  • Manage costs, mitigate risks, and create value for clients to achieve revenue and operational income targets.
  • Monitor and maintain quality data; oversee operations and quality control processes, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Implement and maintain a cycle count program, ensuring SLA standards are met and results communicated to clients.
  • Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives through standardized improvement processes within the facility.
  • Supervise all direct reports, including recruitment, onboarding, expectation setting, training, performance evaluations, and development.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

To be considered, you will need:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in complex demand planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Familiarity with statistical methods, mathematical techniques, and analytical tools related to forecasting and projections.
It would be advantageous if you also possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related discipline.
  • APICS certification.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
  • Background in quality control, inventory management, data analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Resource and project management experience.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO standards.
This role requires the ability to:
  • Lift various objects of different shapes and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Adapt to varying warehouse temperature conditions.
