As you assist in their initiatives, you will enhance your communication, data entry, and reporting capabilities, paving the way for future career advancements.
Compensation:$35,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with applicants through calls, emails, and meetings to collect and evaluate insurance data that informs the risk assessment process and provides underwriting assistance.
- Compile and analyze data for reports that guide insurance policy frameworks and determine coverage eligibility.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all identification, financial, and policy records within underwriting software to support relevant policy recommendations.
- Timely document and communicate policy approvals or denials to the underwriting team, insurance agents, supervisors, and clients.
- Act as a communication liaison between underwriters and clients to track, manage, and prioritize insurance services.
- Examine both new and renewal policies for precision.
- Review modifications to client policies for correctness.
- Willingness to pursue the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
- Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within the insurance sector is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate client records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
