Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Medina Hospital. As a New Grad RN, you will participate in a year-long residency program that will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities- Provides patient-centered care with compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Participates in a year-long residency program to develop clinical judgment, communication skills, and complex nursing skills.
- Works alongside a coach to provide direct nursing care and support patients with pre-surgical needs, antibiotic treatment, and wound care.
- Performs advanced dressing changes and assists with bedside thoracentesis/paracentesis.
- Documents patient information accurately and maintains confidentiality.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make decisions independently.
