Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Assistant to join our team at Reid Health. This role involves providing daily services involving basic care for patients, processing physicians' orders, answering phones, performing clerical duties, and clinical tasks as assigned by the unit.
Responsibilities- Processes physician's orders with accuracy, speed, and proficiency.
- Uses computer software programs with proficiency.
- Compiles charges and maintains accurate medical records.
- Calls physicians for clarification of orders, except for medication, parenteral fluids, and code status.
- Relays information to physicians/physician offices/facilities.
- Schedules appointments and follows Code Procedures.
- Operates unit communication equipment and calls staff as directed.
- Transports patients and initiates work orders.
- Maintains patient records, reports, and charts in accordance with universal chart order.
- A high school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical terminology preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is required, with one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) being highly desirable.
- The ability to work cooperatively with all staff, physicians, and departments is essential.
- Patient satisfaction and safety are top priorities.
- Must be able to multitask in a chaotic environment and anticipate needs of co-workers, patients, and others.
Night Shift: 24 hours per week, 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM

Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
