Position Overview:
The Assistant Customer Technical Representative plays a vital role in facilitating the operational and logistical support for Navy program offices. This position involves collaborating with vendors to ensure timely service delivery and maintaining an organized inventory of assets and software updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the lifecycle logistics planning and execution for the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).
- Provide technical assistance to users, including account creation, troubleshooting account-related issues, and account deactivation.
- Manage printer mapping and network drive configurations.
- Support the Program Office in Knowledge Management by organizing and maintaining file shares.
- Oversee security and distribution group management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
- Proficient in standard NMCI technical support processes.
- Experience in equipment ordering, delivery tracking, and inventory management.
- Ability to submit Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests efficiently.
- Familiarity with Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) Management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
- Knowledge of .NET, Service Request eForms, SReForms, and Active Directory.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in System Administration.
- Background in Knowledge Management.
- Bachelor's degree is advantageous.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
