Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee all financial transactions, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
  • Patient Scheduling & Administration: Manage patient appointments, check-in/check-out procedures, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Insurance Coordination: Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and communicate with insurance companies to ensure timely reimbursement.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor office support staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain office procedures, policies, and protocols as directed by Apex Dental management.
  • Compliance & Communication: Ensure compliance with state regulations and assist in communication with relevant agencies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working in a dental office setting, preferably in an administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance billing practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher preferred in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field.
