Position Overview:
Under the direct guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Technician plays a crucial role in assisting patients with their daily activities. This includes ensuring a secure environment through dedicated observation and care, as well as supporting both staff and patients during specific procedures and health interventions, all within a family-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:
The Technician may also engage in data collection efforts, such as monitoring hand hygiene practices and the use of personal protective equipment.

Hours:
This is a Part-Time position with regular hours from 1 PM to 7 PM, requiring two shifts per week, including some weekends. Flexibility in scheduling is expected.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a nursing program accredited by the NLN. Additionally, a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
Enrollment in an NLN accredited Bachelor of Science nursing program is preferred, with completion of at least the first semester of clinicals. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is also advantageous.
