Patient Care Coordinator

Alaska Imaging is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and ensuring seamless communication between patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
- Schedule patients for services and coordinate with doctors to ensure timely care.
- Place orders for clinic office supplies and maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Communicate with insurance companies to obtain authorization for procedures.
- Work closely with referring providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our clinic.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to follow protocols and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Ability to remain organized and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of medical reception or scheduling experience.
- Previous experience in an imaging center or healthcare setting is a plus.
