About This Opportunity
JOB TITLE : Intake Operator
POSITION TYPE : Full time
CLASSIFICATION : Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $19.75
PM shift available, 5:00PM - 5:00AM, on a 2-2-3 schedule
Weekends and holidays are scheduled on a rotating basis.
Your Role
As an Intake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our product development process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Effectively communicating with the outgoing operator to understand the current state of equipment and production.
- Adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality, and safety standards.
- Collaborating with process operators to manage silo space and production schedules.
- Monitoring the intake bay and silo areas for any leaks or deficiencies.
- Keeping accurate records of all liquid products received and transferred.
- Preparing and maintaining appropriate records for cleaning and quality assurance.
- Receiving fluid milk from haulers and conducting necessary tests.
- Organizing and directing incoming and outgoing trucks to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the intake area.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to work night shifts.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read standard operating procedures in English.
- Team-oriented and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and OSHA standards is a plus.
