Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign collection, wound care, and medication administration
* Conduct data collection and monitoring, including fluid intake and output, and basic and sterile specimen collection
* Run errands, answer phones, and respond to call lights
* Perform point of care testing as trained and delegated by RN

Requirements

* Completion of Patient Care Technician program (post high school)
* Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) certification
* Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment
* Data entry and mathematical skills

Work Environment

* Day shift, Monday through Friday
* Multispecialty Telemetry department
