Job Title: Fulfillment Specialist
Job Summary:
Sparks Group has partnered with a nationwide retailer to identify a fulfillment specialist to join a new distribution center in Charlotte. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will eventually become permanent. Well-qualified candidates will have over a year of experience picking and packing customer orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pull, pack, and ship e-commerce orders daily.
- Manage customer returns.
- Receive and manage inventory in an effective manner.
- Accurately update inventory to prevent overselling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate inventory information.
- Adhere to shipment policies to maintain accurate shipment information and prevent account complaints and reduce return rates.
- Adhere to all Loss Prevention policies and procedures, including the protection of all company assets.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- 1+ year of retail fulfillment experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency using a handheld scanner, pallet jack, and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- 1+ year of experience loading and unloading trucks.
- Highly proficient in areas of Inventory Control, including processing shipments, receipts, and returns.
- Knowledge and proficiency with basic computer applications and software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, use a ladder, and move about the facility, bending, stooping, standing for extended periods of time.
