Schneider Electric: Controls and Automation Expert

We are seeking an experienced Controls and Automation Expert to join our team in East/North Haven, CT. As a key member of our team, you will design and build custom ASCO Power Automated Transfer Switch products for various clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical circuit design, Power Systems, Digital Logic, and basic Protective Relaying applications. You will be responsible for developing PLC Programs, developing HMI programs, and providing engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop PLC Programs per provided sequence of operation
  • Develop HMI programs per Asco standards and matching customer requirements
  • Collaborate with Test Technicians to troubleshoot designs and complete projects

Requirements:

  • Four-year engineering degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Three or more years of professional experience in Automation and Controls, PLC programming, meeting schedules, and providing technical support
  • Strong Work Ethic: Self-motivated and dedicated to completing the task at hand regardless of setbacks

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
