About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Lab Technician to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special clinical laboratory testing using automated, semi-automated and/or manual methods and equipment.

This role involves coordinating and organizing assigned laboratory Chemistry section, training as assigned, and performing all routine and clinical chemistry, and other tests according to Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Performing quality control checks on instruments, reagents, and techniques, maintaining quality control and calibration data.
  • Maintaining inventory of and ordering laboratory supplies, including notifying instrument key operators of upcoming reagent/supply needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

At least 2+ years of experience as a Medical Lab Tech with an Associate degree in medical technology required.

MT or MLT (ASCP or equivalent) certification is also required.

A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience performing either clinical chemistry, hematology, immunoassay, coagulation, and/or urine analyses.

Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
