As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in working alongside our partner clinical teams and training our multi-site Patient Navigators. Your primary focus will be to effectively educate patients on the advantages of genetic testing and the importance of early detection.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: You will oversee a team of over 10 nonexempt employees who are dedicated to guiding patients across various locations.
Advocacy for Patient Care: You will serve as a champion for our patients, leading a committed team of patient navigators who are essential to enhancing the patient experience in imaging centers.
Operational Management: You will optimize site operations to ensure efficient patient flow and deliver outstanding customer service while collaborating with our partner Site Manager.
Employee Development: You will be instrumental in training and developing your team of patient navigators, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive. Additionally, you will play a vital role in launching and supporting new imaging center partnerships.
Daily Operations: You will monitor attendance and performance, implementing disciplinary actions when necessary. You will conduct orientation, set expectations, and perform annual evaluations for your team. Responsibilities also include approving employee timesheets and coordinating time off.
Travel Requirements: This position is remote but requires flexibility for local travel, with a minimum of 50% of workdays dedicated to travel.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Proven track record in managing nonexempt/hourly staff
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Willingness to travel 50% or more of the time
- Bilingual proficiency
- Minimum of 5 years in healthcare management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Adaptability and flexibility
