Position Title: Hotel Housekeeper
Compensation: $20.71/hr
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Contract Duration: 4 months with potential for extension
Availability: Candidates must possess flexible availability for various shifts.

Shift Schedule:
Room Attendant:
Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM – 5 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 9:30 AM – 6 PM
Lobby Attendant: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM
Linen Stocker: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM


Job Overview:
**Candidates must have prior experience in hotel room cleaning.**

  • Engage directly with guests, management, and team leaders during the assignment.
  • Execute standard cleaning operations, including guest room sanitation, maintaining linen supplies, and collecting used service items.
  • Assist in onboarding new and temporary personnel in the correct use of cleaning tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness of designated areas, ensuring adherence to housekeeping standards.
  • Conduct inspections and cleaning of public and back-of-house areas, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Manage waste collection throughout the facility from various locations.
  • Handle dirty glassware and linens, ensuring timely delivery of clean items.
  • Report lost items to the supervisor and manage carpet cleaning and floor maintenance.
  • Notify front desk upon completion of room service to facilitate room availability.
  • Communicate any rooms that cannot be serviced within the expected timeframe to the supervisor.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all guests, responding promptly to requests.
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Assist with the delivery of housekeeping supplies as requested by guests.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Organize and keep linen carts and supplies in order according to departmental standards.
  • Assist with heavy items, including mattresses and soiled linens.
  • Receive and sort soiled linens by type and condition, documenting any damaged items.
  • Operate laundry machines according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure proper chemical usage during laundry processes.
  • Fold and store clean linens appropriately.
  • Maintain security of issued equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in inventory counts as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Possess knowledge of cleaning standards, methods, and equipment.
  • Demonstrate proven customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Physical ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
