We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant for our client.
Position Title: Room Attendant

Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: $15.71/hr - $20.71/hr
Role Overview:
- The selected candidate will interact directly with guests and management.
- Responsibilities include performing standard cleaning duties, such as sanitizing guest rooms, managing linen supplies, and collecting used items.
- May assist in onboarding new staff regarding the use of cleaning tools.
- Ensures all assigned rooms are cleaned and organized according to established standards.
- Maintains cleanliness in all designated areas.
- Adheres to housekeeping protocols and performs self-inspections.
- Regularly inspects and cleans public and service areas, reporting any issues to management.
- Responsible for waste collection throughout the facility.
- Handles the collection and delivery of clean and used glassware.
- Reports lost items to the appropriate personnel.
- Engages in carpet cleaning and floor maintenance.
- Notifies the front desk upon completion of room service.
- Communicates any rooms that cannot be serviced promptly to management.
- Provides excellent customer service to all guests and staff.
- Responds efficiently to requests from guests and supervisors.
- Maintains a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Delivers housekeeping supplies as requested by guests.
- Reports any safety hazards to management.
- Informs management of any malfunctioning equipment.
- Organizes and maintains linen carts and supplies according to standards.
- Stocks storage areas to required levels.
- Assists with the handling of heavy items such as linens.
- Receives and sorts soiled linens.
- Inspects laundry for damage or stains.
- Operates laundry machines according to guidelines.
- Ensures proper chemical usage during laundry processes.
- Folds and stores clean linens appropriately.
- Operates various laundry equipment.
- Maintains security of issued equipment and supplies.
- Assists in inventory counts as needed.
- Complies with all relevant policies and regulations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Possesses knowledge of cleaning standards and methods.
- Demonstrates proven customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
