About the Role:

The Facilities Maintenance Generalist will be a key member of our team at US AMR-Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc., responsible for providing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance and repair services to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, controllers, and other related equipment.
  • Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs, including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumps.
  • Provide general building maintenance, repair, and restorative services as directed by management.
  • Perform general handyman tasks to maintain buildings, including minor plumbing repairs.
  • Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building equipment.
  • Perform general office maintenance tasks, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems.
  • Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested.
  • Assist other operational staff members in the repair and maintenance of building equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, adhering to policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Maintain records for work completed in a neat and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Relevant trade certifications or licenses in lock maintenance, plumbing, or handyman work
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot maintenance and repair issues effectively
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and report any maintenance or repair findings
  • Previous experience in a similar facilities generalist or maintenance role would be advantageous
