Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests that may hinder production efficiency.
- Coordinate external repairs for facility equipment, including doors and forklifts.
- Assist in the planned maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment, such as conveyors and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify operational or safety issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building structures and systems.
- Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks in areas such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Address service requests for office areas, including tasks like changing light fixtures and repairing doors.
- Utilize machine shop tools for various tasks, including welding and cutting.
- Interpret and follow schematic diagrams and blueprints accurately.
- Operate equipment like scissor lifts and forklifts to access challenging areas.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs regularly.
- Show a willingness to learn and share knowledge with team members.
- Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general facilities maintenance.
- At least 2 years' experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, along with welding and fabrication experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with proficiency in machine shop operations.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- A commitment to safety in all tasks.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional training or certifications in related fields are a plus.
