Position Overview

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for collecting and preparing specimens, as well as performing laboratory tests that aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of human physiology and the impact of diseases on laboratory testing.
  • Adhere to laboratory protocols for specimen handling, testing, and reporting results.
  • Conduct various laboratory tests, evaluate results, and accurately report findings.
  • Identify and address any issues that may affect test performance.
  • Document corrective actions for any deviations from established performance standards.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have clinical laboratory experience within the last five years, or a degree in laboratory medical technology with clinical rotation. National registration as an MLS(ASCP)cm, MT(ASCP), or equivalent is required, or candidates must be registry-eligible at the time of hire.
