Medical Observation Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Observation Assistant to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Medical Observation Assistant, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to provide direct patient care to multiple patients at a time on a designated nursing unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Registered Nurses in providing direct patient care
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective clinical workflows and documentation
Requirements:
- High School or GED
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
- CPR certified
- Basic PC skills required
Work Environment:
- Night shift
- 24 scheduled weekly hours
- Observation Unit 1
