Respiratory Care Practitioner

The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides high-quality patient care services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by physicians. This role involves basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, ventilator management, and pulmonary testing.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care services to patients, including basic respiratory care, emergency respiratory care, and ventilator management.
- Conduct pulmonary testing and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to departmental standards.
- Current RCP license with the State of California.
- Minimum of 1 year acute care experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
- Registered or Registry Eligible with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
