About the Role

Lynx Therapeutics is seeking a skilled Community Relations Manager to join our team. As a Community Relations Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders, healthcare providers, and local organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote Lynx Therapeutics' mission and services.
  • Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders to raise awareness of health issues and promote wellness initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate community events, health fairs, and educational workshops to foster community relationships and brand visibility.
  • Gather feedback from community stakeholders to inform program development and service enhancements.
  • Manage communication and outreach efforts through social media, newsletters, and community presentations.
  • Assess community needs and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations in all community initiatives.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in community relations, public relations, or health education.
  • Strong understanding of community health issues and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for community engagement.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and networks within the healthcare community.
  • Experience in event planning and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
