Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (OR) at Carolinas Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care services, managing daily operations, and overseeing the allocation of resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Coordination: Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate patient care and outcomes, prioritizing tasks to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage human and fiscal resources effectively, ensuring that staffing levels meet the needs of patients and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Communication: Facilitate effective communication among team members, including patient rounding, physician updates, and staff meetings.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide guidance and oversight to nursing personnel, promoting clinical excellence and adherence to hospital policies.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

This role requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a leadership capacity, along with current RN licensure in North Carolina. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required, and previous management experience is preferred. Professional certification, such as CCRN or CNL, is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings options, we also offer a sign-on bonus and opportunities for professional growth and development.
