Job Title: Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and leadership experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personnel Supervision: Supervise and manage clinic staff, including issuing warnings, conducting performance appraisals, and handling personnel issues.
  • Budget Assistance: Assist the Clinic Administrator in preparing the budget and ensure spending remains within acceptable levels.
  • Complaint Management: Manage complaints from patients, staff, and physicians, and work with the Clinic Administrator to resolve issues.
  • Accounts Payable: Code invoices, maintain copies, and provide information related to invoices.
  • Billing Assistance: Assist the Departmental Billing Manager in solving billing problems and improving registration and billing errors.
  • Supply Maintenance: Order and track supplies for the clinic.
  • Liaison: Serve as a liaison between HCA and other departments to ensure information is shared appropriately.
  • Report Preparation: Run queries and prepare clinical reports on write-offs, charges, and collections.
  • Clinic Assistance: Provide assistance to the clinic, including scheduling, referrals, and lab and x-ray requisitions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of management and organizational processes and healthcare policy.
    • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines and other applicable federal and state laws.
    • Ability to plan, organize, direct, and schedule clinic employees.
    • Ability to train and mentor other clinic personnel.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
    • Ability to identify and discuss with management opportunities to improve overall patient care and improve the clinic processes.
    • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
