Job Title: Clinical Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration and leadership experience in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personnel Supervision: Supervise and manage clinic staff, including issuing warnings, conducting performance appraisals, and handling personnel issues.
- Budget Assistance: Assist the Clinic Administrator in preparing the budget and ensure spending remains within acceptable levels.
- Complaint Management: Manage complaints from patients, staff, and physicians, and work with the Clinic Administrator to resolve issues.
- Accounts Payable: Code invoices, maintain copies, and provide information related to invoices.
- Billing Assistance: Assist the Departmental Billing Manager in solving billing problems and improving registration and billing errors.
- Supply Maintenance: Order and track supplies for the clinic.
- Liaison: Serve as a liaison between HCA and other departments to ensure information is shared appropriately.
- Report Preparation: Run queries and prepare clinical reports on write-offs, charges, and collections.
- Clinic Assistance: Provide assistance to the clinic, including scheduling, referrals, and lab and x-ray requisitions.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of management and organizational processes and healthcare policy.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare guidelines and other applicable federal and state laws.
- Ability to plan, organize, direct, and schedule clinic employees.
- Ability to train and mentor other clinic personnel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.
- Ability to identify and discuss with management opportunities to improve overall patient care and improve the clinic processes.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office tools.
