Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children in their homes. As an OTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation of patients' functional abilities and limitations to help develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve patients' fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment, adjusting interventions as directed by the occupational therapist.
- Instruct patients and their families in therapeutic techniques and activities they can perform at home to enhance rehabilitation progress.
- Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Texas.
