Job Summary

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Customer Service Specialist (Bilingual) to support the Office of Response and Recovery. As a key member of the Recovery Directorate, Reporting & Analytics Division, Analytics Branch, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to FEMA programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys of FEMA programs via telephonic methods.
  • Document customer responses in report form.
  • Manage customer service measurement tools by assisting in the development, structuring, and dissemination of customer surveys.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • One full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-07 level in the Federal government.
  • Experience in identifying customer-related problems and making recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Developing and/or issuing customer service surveys.
  • Speaking, reading, and writing in both English and Spanish languages.
Education

This position permits applicants to qualify based on education (or a combination of education and experience), as outlined in the "requirements" section.

This is an excepted service appointment under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, Section 306 (b).
