We are looking for an experienced GIS Data Specialist to join our team at Trilon Group in Canton and Hancock, Michigan. As a key member of our environmental consulting firm, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting environmental data to inform business decisions.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will manage geodatabases, collect GPS data, and collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality results. Your primary focus will be on providing spatial and graphical interpretations of environmental analytical data, including contaminant maps, geophysical maps, and surface maps.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret environmental data to inform business decisions.
  • Manage geodatabase projects and GPS collection efforts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and technical staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, geology, engineering, biology, chemistry, or environmental science. Familiarity with ArcGIS Pro and/or ArcGIS Desktop is essential, as well as experience using GIS (1-5 years) and proficiency in processing GPS data.

A strong ability to analyze and interpret data, think critically, and communicate effectively is crucial for success in this position. Additionally, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members are highly valued.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 per yearBenefits:
