Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations.
  • Generating various financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

  • Drafting departmental budgets.
  • Supervising, planning, and assessing the work of assigned staff.
  • Providing training and guidance on accounting methods and procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • One to three years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Expertise in financial record-keeping and reporting methodologies.
  • Experience with budget preparation, oversight, and control processes.
  • Understanding of financial compliance and auditing standards.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to execute complex accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency in preparing and presenting financial reports.
  • Skills in evaluating accounting systems and conducting financial analyses.
  • Capacity to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Leadership abilities to direct and mentor assigned personnel.
