Junior Financial Analyst

Vaco is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in executing various financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial statements for various entities monthly.
- Perform bank reconciliations for complex bank accounts and prepare related journal entries.
- Process employee expense reports and submit for payment.
- Prepare and automate standard monthly journal entries.
- Audit and post Daily Reports.
- Vendor maintenance - maintaining W9 forms from new vendors and maintaining current vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual closings.
- Various administrative tasks - e.g. filing hard/soft copy invoices and other documents.
- Assist the Accounting Team with other ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Experience working with journal entries.
- 1-2 years' experience in a junior/staff accountant role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - vlookups, pivot tables, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Real estate/property management experience a bonus.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
