Job Summary:

Terracon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Testing and Inspection Specialist to join our team. As an Entry-Level Geotechnical Technician, you will assist in performing field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with a leading multidisciplinary consulting firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding testing and inspection requirements and results.
  • Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
  • Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
