Job Overview

As a Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the performance of routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests, preparing and transporting samples and reports, and performing non-technical functions and office tasks under close supervision of higher level technicians or supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other materials as directed.
  • Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks.
  • Transport equipment, specimens, or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients, or other offices, and provide physical assistance in equipment set-up.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
  • Retain information and become a self-sufficient employee, continuing to grow with our company.
  • Support quality policies and procedures, maintaining the quality of work and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • No experience necessary.
  • Ability to lift 10–60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods.
  • Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
