Optical Inspection Specialist

The Optical Inspection Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of customer products by performing automated optical inspection using the AOI machine. The ideal candidate will have experience with electronics components and be able to read schematics and follow procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform automated optical inspection of assemblies, including shutdown and start-up.
- Perform equipment maintenance and ensure compliance with BSU's Quality Management System.
- Record daily run information and keep accurate records.
- Assist with visual inspection and segregation of rejected product.
- Responsible for continuous on-the-job training and development.
- AOI and/or inspection experience preferred.
- Familiarity with electronics components and ability to read schematics.
- Ability to apply computer skills and knowledge to resolve technical problems.
High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred, or 2+ years related work experience.
