About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to lead our environmental assessment and remediation projects in the Northeast US. As a key member of our North Atlantic Operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of hydrogeologists and engineers to support WSP's site assessment and remediation practices.
  • Collaborate with other WSP offices and environmental staff on projects in the Northeast US.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and agencies as required by each assignment.
  • Participate in global corporate technical practice groups to elevate our technical excellence and visibility.
  • Assess the effectiveness of groundwater and soil remediation and assist in optimizing groundwater remedy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients.
  • Provide technical leadership to a diverse team and assist in the identification and recruitment of high-quality staff.
  • Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a closely related discipline.
  • 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Experience with CERCLA and RCRA-based investigations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with fractured bedrock hydrogeology.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and contouring software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER).
  • M.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Water Resources.
  • Professional registration such as PE, PG, or other relevant license.
  • Experience with analytical models and groundwater modeling software.
